The short version
Gloop & Go is a mobile puzzle game provided by Nate Just Dev (“we,” “us”). You can play without creating an account. Game progress is stored on your device. The game uses Google AdMob for advertising and offers an optional No Ads purchase through your app store. Optional Firebase Analytics collects data only after an eligible player explicitly agrees.
This website has no advertising, analytics scripts, account system, or tracking cookies set by us. Hosting providers still process technical information needed to deliver and protect a website. Contact us at nate.just.dev@gmail.com for privacy questions or requests.
Information we handle and why
| Information | How it is used | Where it goes |
|---|---|---|
| Level progress, best moves, discovered Gloops, sound/motion/privacy settings | Save your adventure and preferences. | Stored locally in the app’s device storage; your operating system may include app data in backups. |
| Optional gameplay events, such as screens visited, level starts/ends, move counts, active play time, and undo actions; app-instance and device context | Understand how levels are played and improve the game, if you enable Usage Analytics. | Google Firebase / Google Analytics. |
| Advertising request and interaction information, IP address, device/app information, diagnostics, and identifiers permitted by the ad settings | Deliver and measure ads, keep them appropriate, and detect fraud. | Google AdMob and parties involved in delivering those ads, under their applicable policies. |
| Product, transaction/order and purchase-status information | Provide and restore No Ads, and prevent duplicate fulfillment. | Apple or Google Play and Unity’s in-app purchasing integration; a No Ads ownership record is stored locally. |
| Your email address and what you choose to send us | Answer support requests, investigate issues, and handle privacy requests. | Our support email service (Gmail/Google). |
| Website requests, including IP address and browser/request information | Deliver website pages and maintain hosting security and reliability. | Google Firebase Hosting when this site is served there. |
We do not ask you for a name, birth date, precise location, contacts, photos, microphone access, or payment-card information to play. Your app store processes your payment details; we do not receive your full card number. Please avoid sending unnecessary personal information in support emails.
Optional analytics
The Usage Analytics preference starts on for new installations, but collection remains blocked until a player selects the 16-or-older age group and explicitly chooses Allow analytics. Players under 16 and players whose age group or choice is unknown do not send optional analytics. The age group and privacy choice are stored locally; no date of birth is requested or sent as an analytics event. You can review the choice or turn collection off in Settings → Privacy & analytics. Existing saved opt-outs remain off. When enabled, Firebase may also process technical context such as app/OS version, device information, app-instance identifiers, and approximate geographic information derived by the service. These records should not be considered anonymous.
The app does not set a custom user ID for analytics. Advertising-related analytics consent and personalization signals remain disabled; the app disables Analytics advertising-ID collection on Android and IDFV collection on iOS. Turning Usage Analytics off stops future optional collection and clears events waiting to be sent by the game. It does not automatically delete information already received by Google.
Advertising and purchases
Ads are configured for child-restricted treatment and a G content rating for all players. We do not request interest-based personalized advertising. Those settings do not eliminate all processing: ad services can still use technical information for contextual delivery, measurement, security, and fraud prevention. Google’s mobile ads disclosures describe the information the SDK can process.
Where applicable, advertising privacy options appear in the game’s privacy settings. Purchasing No Ads removes gameplay banners and completion interstitials; it does not automatically change your separate Usage Analytics preference or delete previously processed records.
Service providers and sharing
We use the services listed above to operate the game, fulfill purchases, provide support, and host the website. We do not sell your support correspondence or provide a player mailing list to advertisers. Providers may process information on our behalf or for their own purposes described in their policies. We may also disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate abuse, or resolve a dispute.
- Google Privacy Policy — Google services, including AdMob and Gmail.
- Firebase privacy and security information — analytics and hosting.
- Google Mobile Ads data disclosures — SDK data practices.
- Apple Privacy Policy — App Store purchases.
- Unity game-player privacy policy — Unity services and purchase integration.
Children and families
Gloop & Go is intended for a general audience, including children. There are no player accounts, chat features, or requests for a child’s name or contact details within gameplay. Ad requests use the protective child-restricted configuration described above, and optional Usage Analytics is blocked for players under 16 and players whose age group or choice is unknown. The local age-group screen is used only for privacy settings and does not change game access or rewards.
Parents and guardians should manage purchases and privacy choices for children using the app and the store’s parental controls. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, or you want help reviewing or deleting a child’s information, contact nate.just.dev@gmail.com. We will review the request, limit requests for additional information to what is necessary, and take appropriate deletion or other action.
How long information is kept
- Local game data: retained on your device until you reset the relevant data or remove the app’s data. Reset Progress clears game progress and collection discoveries, but preserves No Ads ownership. Settings, operating-system backups, and store purchase records are separate.
- Support correspondence: kept only as long as needed to address your request and for necessary security, dispute-resolution, or legal recordkeeping. You may ask us to delete it. If we must retain some information, we will explain why where permitted.
- Optional analytics: retained under the Google Analytics property’s retention settings and Google’s applicable policies, for understanding and improving the game. Retention can differ for event-level and aggregated reports. Contact us for information about the current setting or a deletion request.
- Advertising, store and hosting records: retained by the relevant providers according to their applicable policies and obligations, including fraud prevention, security, and transaction recordkeeping. Removing the game does not erase these records.
See Your data for local reset instructions and a direct request route. We may be unable to identify an individual’s analytics record from an email address because the game does not link email addresses to gameplay. We will explain available options rather than promise deletion of records we cannot identify or control.
Your choices and privacy rights
You can play with Usage Analytics off, manage advertising privacy options where available, purchase No Ads, reset local game progress, and contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or information about processing. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to object, restrict processing, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent, or complain to your local privacy authority. Withdrawing consent does not undo processing already lawfully performed.
Where a legal basis is required, optional analytics relies on your choice/consent; support, security, and essential service operation may rely on legitimate interests, providing a requested service, or legal obligations as applicable. Providers’ independent processing is also explained in their own policies. We do not charge simply for asking a privacy question or treat you differently for exercising applicable rights.
Security and international processing
We limit the information requested for support and use the security controls offered by our service providers. Website hosting uses HTTPS when deployed to Firebase, and network SDKs use their supported transport protections. No device, transmission, or storage method is completely secure.
Our providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States. Their policies and contractual safeguards describe how they handle international transfers. Please contact us if you need more information about processing that applies to you.
